Joe Suhre
Principal
My name Joseph Suhre and I’m the founder and principal of Suhre & Associates, LLC, a DUI & Criminal Defense Law Firm. I have dedicated my practice to the defense of DUI cases. I am licensed to practice law in Ohio, Kentucky, and Federal Court in the Southern District of Ohio.
Almost 100% of my caseload is related to DUI cases.
I have more than than eleven years of DUI defense experience and five years experience as a cop. And I’ve handled hundreds of DUI cases before dozens of judges in many different counties and states. Because of this unique experience, I am uniquely qualified to defend my clients against DUI charges.
I actually began my legal career on the “other side” as a police officer. I’ve used this experience and training as a police officer to give me a unique perspective that almost all attorneys….do not have.
When a client comes to me, the first thing I look at is the actions of the arresting police officer. I use my knowledge of police practices and training standards to try and find mistakes made by the officer that arrested my client.
And that is just how I start my legal representation for my clients.
My method for handling the DUI cases of my clients is simple and straightforward….treat you the same way I would want to be treated if I needed help.

Mark Wieczorek

My name is Mark Wieczorek, and I’m an attorney with Suhre & Associates in Cincinnati and the Business Manager of the Chicago Office. I am licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in Federal Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
I joined Suhre & Associates after a successful career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.
As an assistant prosecutor, I had full control of all DUI and Criminal matters, including the initial investigation, discovery, legal research, trial planning and courtroom appearances.
I served as lead attorney in more than 1000 criminal cases and personally tried more than 100 cases with a 95% success rate.
And I have turned that successful career around…and am doing the same thing defending DUI and Criminal clients.
I’ve secured adjudications in a long-list of cases. Among these cases are hundreds of DUI cases, aggravated robbery with gun specifications, felony drug possession and trafficking, gross sexual imposition, arson and rape.
Because of this experience, I’m very good at the discovery phase of a case, which is how you develop a litigation strategy.
Having this valuable experience gives me an insight and vision that allows me to understand how cases make their way through the court system.
Because of this, I can analyze and assess a case to determine where the weak points are, and how to exploit them.
In addition, I identify the strong points of a case, develop a litigation strategy, and then convey that to a judge or jury.
As a defense attorney, I have successfully argued numerous motions to suppress based on probable cause to stop, probable cause to arrest, and violations of the defendant’s Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment rights. Bottom line, I look for anything I can to win a case.

My experience in criminal law and procedure, most specifically in the area of Chicago DUI Defense, allows me to successfully represent my clients who find themselves in a legal predicament.
I’m adept at navigating the legal system in pursuit of your best interests. From the instant our attorney-client relationship begins, I will aggressively protect your legal rights.
While my primary concentration area is DUI defense, my experience includes not only criminal law but consumer bankruptcy, collections law, creditor’s rights litigation, contract litigation, divorce, and arbitration. At the end of the day, my confidence and determination in the courtroom provide results.
In addition, I gained substantial experience in the area of criminal defense while working with a high volume public defender’s office during law school. My desire to serve and help others has not waivered and I look forward to providing clients with the attentive, personalized representation they deserve.
I am a 2006 cum laude graduate of St. Bonaventure University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I subsequently received my Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University in 2009.
